This Watch We have here a fantastic dive style Omega Seamaster Chronostop model 145. 007 from 1968. One of the sharpest and best conditions versions we have handled in many years . The watch is complete with the inner tachymeter scale The black dial has stick baton markers, with just enough patina to give no doubt to its originality. The outer minute tracking is an interesting checkerboard style and the final outer ring is the tachometer measurement, White stick hour and minute hands are complemented by the orange Chronostop hand. The 41mm, stainless steel, screw back case is big for a vintage watch but the perfect size for a sporty watch and wears equally well on men and women. Inside is the mechanical manual wind caliber 865, fully serviced by us and running strongly. We've paired the watch on an orange silicone rubber strap to keep that sporty feel but with a face like that it can wear anything we have included some wrist shot strap options for your pleasure. It wasn't until 1885, when the company had been taken over by Louis' sons, that the first mass produced caliber, the Labrador, was released. By 1903, the company had renamed itself Omega and only two years later were they the official timekeepers at many sporting events across Switzerland. Omega stepped onto an international stage in 1932 as the official timekeepers at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, the first of over 20 Olympic Games. Omega were one of the 12 companies, now known as the Dirty Dozen, commissioned to produce watches for the British Military during the Second World War.
